A versatile artist who has nearly ten years of teaching experience, Biveesh is has marked his presence as a practicing artist and a teacher. A person who constantly updates his knowledge of contemporary global art and art history, he is equally interested in painting, sculpture, movie and design. A postgraduate in painting, he has participated in many artist camps, and his works have been included in many important group shows.
Upayan Bardhan
Teaching Artist
An artist and teacher, Upayan Bardhan is a postgraduate in painting, with many international certificates to his credit, ranging from film and digital art to communication and video production. His practice is in the areas of painting, photography and mural, and he is interested in printmaking, illustration, digital painting, pottery and recycled paper making. His skills are mainly in teaching drawing, painting and photography technicalities.
PRASANTH KV
Teaching artist, Trainee
Prasanth K.V is a working artist with a passion for paintings, and he did his graduation and post-graduation from College of Fine Arts Kerala, in Thiruvananthapuram. He has participated in various group shows and also worked as resident artist at BC Gallery, Mattancherry. He got K Karunakaran Memorial Scholarship by Kerala Lalithakala Akademi in 2018, and worked as an art instructor in Painting for three years under the Department of Culture in Kerala as part of Diamond Jubilee Fellowship program, which strengthened his teaching ability.
Ramesh R
Teaching artist, Trainee
Ramesh R is a visual artist with many exhibitions to his credit. A postgraduate with first rank in sculpture from College of Fine Arts Kerala, in Thiruvananthapuram, he has also got Diamond Jubilee Fellowship from the Department of Culture, Government of Kerala, and qualified UGC-NET. A sculptor and a passionate teacher with innovative ideas, he has exhibited his works in many exhibitions including Kerala State Exhibition 2017-18, and a group show titled ‘5 Sculptors’, in Kerala Lalithakala Akademi, in 2017.
Bivas Paul
Teaching artist, Trainee
Bivas Paul completed MFA in 2022, from the Department of Painting, Sarojini Naidu School of Arts and Communication, University of Hyderabad, and he is equally interested in art practice and teaching. He has won a few awards including an award in painting in the 54th Annual Exhibition of the Birla Academy of Art & Culture, Kolkata and Sakti Burman Award for 2nd best work in the 155th annual exhibition at Government College of Art and Craft, Kolkata. He also participated at the 4th edition of the Students’ Biennale.
Sneha Patel
Teaching artist, Trainee
A multimedia artist interested in drawing, photography, digital and video art, Sneha Patel took her Bachelors and Masters in Fine Arts from Sarojini Naidu School of Arts and Communication, University of Hyderabad, after completing her graduation in commerce. Her art practice revolves around the idea of accepting the inevitability of impermanence, and embracing its uniqueness. Being a multimedia artist, she has the expertise in incorporating different mediums in her teaching to efficiently communicate with young students.
